Exhibitor Information
Showcase your product or service at New Mexico's largest water and wastewater conference. We've made schedule changes this year that will give you maximum access to potential clients. The Technology Exhibit Hall will be open for conference attendees on Monday, April 6th through noon on Wednesday, April 8th. Consider hosting an Exhibitor Demonstration Class (see demo class schedule below) or consider becoming a Conference Sponsor. Get more product exposure while supporting small water systems across New Mexico! Click below for an Exhibitor Packet or call our office for more information.
Exhibitor Demonstration Classes
Demonstration Classes allow for hands-on instruction in a small group setting. Classes are offered in 30-minute time blocks on Tuesday morning only. The classes will take place inside the Exhibit Hall at the Exhibitor's booth. There are seven sessions and attendees attend a new class during each session. A separate attendance stamp card with special instructions will be included in Conference registration packets.
Separate registration is required for Demo Classes. Attendees must register for each individual demonstration class and time at the participating Exhibitor's booth. Attendees must ask the Exhibitor to register for a demonstration class. The class and time must also be copied to their attendance stamp card. Demo classes are popular with Conference attendees and space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Demo Classes will follow this schedule on Tuesday:
- 08:00 - 08:30 Session 1
- 08:35 - 09:05 Session 2
- 09:05 - 09:15 Morning Break 1
- 09:15 - 09:45 Session 3
- 09:50 - 10:20 Session 4
- 10:20 - 10:30 Morning Break 2
- 10:30 - 11:00 Session 5
- 11:05 - 11:35 Session 6
- 11:40 - 12:10 Session 7
Since multiple classes are offered per session, Exhibitors will repeat the same class during each session. All classes will be limited to 8 people to maximize the opportunity for questions and to address specific needs. At the end of each 30-minute session, the exhibitor/instructor will stamp attendance cards and attendees proceed immediately to the next booth on their schedule.
Be A Sponsor
Consider becoming more involved with the Association and our membership by being a Conference Sponsor. It's possible to sponsor just about anything during the Annual Conference: meals, breaks, contests, prizes, tours, and site visits. Benefits include recognition in the conference program and at conference events, logo placement on conference materials and on NMRWA.org, complimentary conference registrations, and an introduction to the NMRWA Board of Directors. It all adds up to high visibility and huge opportunity!
Annual Awards
The Association recognizes the achievements of Rural Water's best at the Annual Awards Luncheon. Anyone may nominate water systems, board members, operators, managers, or special individuals to receive an award.
7th Annual New Mexico Rural Water Taste Test
sponsored by Bohannan-Huston, Inc.
We are looking for the best drinking water from a community water system in the State to represent New Mexico in a nationwide competition. A panel of three distinguished judges will conduct a preliminary taste test on coded water samples to select the top five entries for the final "taste-off" on Tuesday evening immediately before the Annual Banquet.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive $1,500 towards airfare and hotel accommodations to meet New Mexico's congressional delegation and enter their water in The Great American Water Taste Test, sponsored each year by the National Rural Water Association during the Rural Water Rally in Washington, DC. New Mexico's 2003 winner, Lake Section Water Co., finished in the top five in the nation and was featured on CNN! Las Acequias de Placitas has won the NM competition three out of six years. If you think your water is the best, put it to the test!
