Exhibitor Information
NMRWA Annual Conference exhibitors are public and private corporations, federal and state agencies, and assistance providers to the water community. The focus of our exhibits is on small system needs, treatment technologies, utility equipment, and professional services. Always welcome are exhibitors that provide information on compliance issues, computer and technology skills, educational opportunities, funding sources, and data management services. Consider hosting an Exhibitor Demonstration Class or consider becoming a Conference Sponsor. Get maximum exposure while supporting small water systems across New Mexico! Click below for an Exhibitor Packet or call our office for more information.
Exhibitor Demonstration Classes
Demonstration Classes allow for hands-on instruction in a small group setting. Classes are offered in 30-minute time blocks on Tuesday morning beginning at 8:00. The classes take place inside the Exhibit Hall at the Exhibitor's booth. There are seven sessions and attendees attend a new class during each session with 5 minutes between each to allow time for rotation. Separate attendance with special instructions will be included with your Conference materials.
Separate registration is required for Demo Classes. Participants must register for individual demonstration class and time with the Exhibitor conducting the class at their booth. Demo classes are always popular and space is very limited, so early registration is highly encouraged.
Since multiple classes are offered per session, Exhibitors will repeat the same class during each session. All classes will be limited to 8 people to maximize the opportunity for questions and to address specific needs. At the end of each 30-minute session, the exhibitor/instructor will record attendance and participants proceed immediately to the next booth on their schedule.
Be A Sponsor
Consider becoming more directly involved with the Association and our membership by being a Conference Sponsor. It's possible to sponsor just about anything during the Annual Conference: meals, breaks, contests, prizes, tours, and site visits. Benefits include recognition in the conference program and at conference events, logo placement on conference materials and on NMRWA.org, complimentary conference registrations, and an introduction to the NMRWA Board of Directors. It all adds up to high visibility and huge opportunity!
Annual Awards
The Association recognizes the achievements of Rural Water's best at the Annual Awards Luncheon. Anyone may nominate water systems, board members, operators, managers, or special individuals to receive an award.
New Mexico Drinking Water Taste Test sponsored by Bohannan-Huston, Inc.
The best-tasting drinking water from a Public Water System will represent all of New Mexico’s rural water systems in a nationwide competition in Washington, DC at the annual Rural Water Rally event. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a cash award towards airfare and hotel accommodations to meet New Mexico's congressional delegation and enter their water in NRWA's Great American Water Taste Test. If you think your water is the best, put it to the test! Like fine wine, your water will be judged on taste, bouquet, and clarity.
This year announces the addition of a People’s Choice award to the 2010 Drinking Water Taste Contest. The annual competition recognizes excellence in drinking water system operation and maintenance by providing the opportunity for small systems to showcase their products.
