BDD Operator (Level I - III) : City of Santa Fe



The BDD Operator performs operation and maintenance tasks that include, but are not limited to: monitoring, evaluating and adjusting process equipment; cleaning and maintenance of process basins, buildings, equipment and vehicles; collecting samples; inspecting, operating and maintaining process equipment; collecting and logging data and accurate reporting of process and equipment status conditions. The BDD Operator may be required to perform repetitive duties and other job assignments as may be required for regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

The job description covers NMED Level I, II and III Certified Water Systems Operators at the BDD. NMED Level I, II or III certified operators entering this job must pass the applicable BDD certification in all key areas of competency within one year of hire for continued employment with the BDD. In addition, all NMED Level I certified operators must obtain NMED Level II certification along with applicable BDD certification within the above timelines for continued employment with the BDD.

Water Production Manager (Level IV) : Village of Riudoso



The Water Production Manager directs the operations of the Water Production Division of the Utility Department of the Village of Ruidoso. The primary focus of this position is to plan, manage, schedule and oversee daily operation, maintenance and repair of system components in compliance with all NMED and US EPA drinking water standards and permit requirements. The position assists the Utility Director in planning and implementing system upgrades and extensions. This position assists the Utility Director in monitoring and documenting use of water rights. This position is responsible for preparation and submission of all state and federal mandated reports. This position assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures to advance the department's mission, goals, and objectives. This position determines and recommends, to the Utility Director, levels of staff and equipment needed to effectively and efficiently provide services to the Village.

Water Systems Operator Level IV : Anthony W&SD



Seeking a Water Systems Operator Level 4 to assist, coordinate and oversee a Water Treatment Facility equipment start up and shakedown procedure.

Facility & Equipment Description:
This project includes rehabilitation 4 wells owned and operated by the Anthony Water and Sanitation District. Two of the well sites will receive modifications to the existing wells, two of the sites will receive new wells. Water from three of the well sites will be pumped and piped to the fourth well site where we are currently constructing the treatment facility.

This facility will house 2 Reverse Osmosis Purification Skids with a feed flow of 600gpm and a 75% design recovery manufactured by GE Water & Process Technologies, Clean-in-Place System, Automatic Self Cleaning Filters, Pre and Post-chlorination chemical feed systems, dechlorination chemical feed system, 3 Aurora 1400gpm Booster Pumps, Several Motor actuated valves, flow meters, well pump and motor, and instrumentation and controls to run all four well sites.

Responsibilities and Duties of Operator:
Review project design requirements and intent of proposed system. Familiarize themselves with project facility and individual equipment to have working knowledge of each piece of equipment and the system as a whole. Attend equipment start up and training session provided by equipment manufacturer. Operate and maintain system, conduct water tests, and document/report facility operation.

Upon completion of the shakedown of the system, the operator will be required to train the Anthony Water & Sanitation District's permanent operator in the maintenance and operating procedures of the each piece of equipment and the system as a whole.

Estimated Time Frame:
30-90 Days

Pay Rate:
Operator will be contracted by Smithco Construction for their services at a negotiated Monthly rate.
