Works under the general supervision of an Operations Superintendent, Operations Foreman or Senior Operator performing a variety of entry level skilled duties in the operation of light equipment in the operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of various components of the water and wastewater distribution and metering systems. Qualifications include High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of responsible experience in a field directly related to above duties, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must become a certified Level I Wastewater Operator within 9 months of hire. Must be willing to work on-call 24/7. $13.86-$16.06/hr DOE/Q. Utility Operations Manager : Camino Real Regional Utility Authority
The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority is accepting applications for a Utility Operations Manager. Must have a valid driver's license, New Mexico State Water Level IV and Wastewater Level IV certifications. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Joint Utility Authority's water production, treatment and distribution systems and the wastewater collection, treatment and disposal systems. Provides oversight for multiple treatment plant operations, administration and technical support, supervises Authority and contract personnel who perform operation and maintenance duties. Plan, supervise and coordinate the construction and/or repair of water and wastewater lines, lift stations, booster stations and related infrastructure.
